My Scarf Hunting Adventure
I ran a few errands the other day and ended up making a big adventure out of it. First off, I went out of my way to take the metro just so I could stop at this station I have always wanted to explore: Al Ghubaiba. Every station here has a theme and this one reflects a very classic Dubai. Cool, eh?

Viva La Vida, 2012!
There was no way I was leaving my NYE Coldplay experience undocumented so I persevered with my crappy camera phone.

Taking Patriotism to the Streets
I really don’t mind the Arabic music. The perfumes and incense can get overwhelming to the sinuses but they do not trigger unwanted association the same way oranges bring back memories of motion sickness.
